Mr Bennett Neo
Mr Neo is Chief Executive Officer, Saigon Beer-Alcohol-Beverage Corporation (Sabeco), Vietnam.
Mr Neo has 22 years of extensive experience in the beer, oil and gas, marine and supply chain industries and has held several assignments in Asia, the USA and the UK. Prior to joining Sabeco, Mr Neo was the CEO of Food, of Fraser and Neave, Limited (F&N), where he was responsible for the building and implementation of the strategies of F&N’s food business.
Mr Neo was also the CEO of YCH Group, where he oversaw the development and execution of the company’s key business strategies to ensure its overall growth while enhancing the service experience for YCH’s world-class customers. He had held several senior positions in the APB Group where his last role was Regional Director and he managed Tiger Global Exports and Heineken Exports (Asia Pacific), overseeing various markets in Asia and South East Asia. Mr Neo started his career in sales in 1994, working with various global organisations like Esso, Exxon and subsequently, ExxonMobil.
Mr Neo is also the Chairman of the Migrant Workers' Assistance Fund and Co-Chairman of the Migrant Workers Forum. He serves as a Strategic Advisor at Go Ahead Singapore and is also a Council member of the Football Association of Singapore and the Chairman of its Business Development Committee. He has recently been appointed Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Domestic Employees Welfare Fund (DEWF), an initiative by the Labour Movement to promote fair employment practices in Singapore.
Mr Neo holds a Mechanical & Production Engineering degree from Nanyang Technological University. He is also a canoeing enthusiast who represented Singapore in numerous international canoe championships and was the coach of the National Canoeing Team in 1993.
