Outstanding Leadership in Supporting Fair Employment Practices
NKF has won the Special Mention for Outstanding Leadership in Supporting Fair Employment Practices during the Tripartite Alliance Fair and Progressive Employment Practices (TAFEP) Exemplary Employer Award Ceremony on 28 April 2014.
There were 30 finalists this year out of 78 participating organisations. NKF is one of the 13 winners recognised for its achievements in the area of fair and progressive employment practices. Nominated employers had to undertake employee surveys, focus group discussions and senior leadership interviews as part of the rigorous assessment process. The panel of judges comprised tripartite representatives of Ministry of Manpower, National Trades Union Congress and Singapore National Employers Federation.
The Award is a testament of our continuing efforts in taking a pro-active role in advocating and adopting progressive HR policies. Our staff attrition rate for the current financial year has come down to 10% compared to 16% for the previous FY while our Employee Engagement Index (EEI) is 4.85 versus the National EEI of 4.59.
NKF remains committed in building a considerate and vibrant workplace, enhancing fairness through open communications as well as supporting a mature and diverse workforce.
