Homemade Chicken Nuggets / 自制鸡肉块

(Makes 40 nuggets)

Ingredients:

  • 500g ground chicken
  • 300g firm tofu
  • 4 tablespoons instant oats
  • 1 egg
  • 2-inch grated ginger
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 100g breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil

Steps:

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, mashed tofu, instant oats, egg and all the seasoning. Mix in one direction until well combined and sticky.
  2. Divide the mixture into small portions and coat with breadcrumbs.
  3. Heat up oil in a non-stick pan. Place the nuggets and cook over medium heat till cooked. When the bottom is nicely browned, flip them over and cook until the other side is brown.
