What are the benefits in fruit?

Fruit contains not only a great source of vitamins and minerals, but also rich in phytonutrients. Phytonutrients are the plantbased chemicals that benefit the body in many ways, such as strengthen the body’s immune system. Furthermore, fruit has both soluble and insoluble fibre that could help in lowering blood cholesterol and promote bowel movements.

Anthocyanins act as antioxidants to fight off free radicals in the body to prevent cancer.


Beta-carotene is good antioxidants to lower risk of cancer and heart disease and maintain eyesight.
Bioflavonoids work together with Vitamin C to promote skin health and wound healing.


Lutein can be found in the retina and lens of eye. It acts as great antioxidant to maintain good vision. It also reduce risk of macular degeneration and cataracts.


Anthoxanthins, a type of flavonoids pigment that shows antioxidants properties.


Anthocyanins and Phenolics.
Both are powerful antioxidants in slowing down aging process and may reduce the risk of cancer and heart diseases.
