Mind Stimulation Activities (MSA) help engage our patients to be mentally active through fun and stimulating games, enrich the patients’ dialysis sessions, improve patients’ quality of life and equip volunteers with skills to do befriending. Volunteers under this programme would be required to undergo four hours of training and adopt a dialysis centre for a period of at least one year. Volunteers would be provided with the relevant supervision and would be encouraged to provide feedback.
Upon completion of the programme, volunteers would receive a certificate. This programme has received both the recognition and support from the Psychotherapy Association of Singapore (PAS), SIM Psychology Society, NUS Psychology Society, and James Cook University.
