Noted arts patron, former investment broker and Singapore socialite Anna Wang is organising a fundraising gala in aid of the NKF Children's Medical Fund on January 22, 2003 at The Embassy, Esplanade from 6:00pm till 10:00 pm. H.E. Dr Guido Scalici will be the guest of honour at this exclusive event, which is expected to raise $ 50,000. The event is co-sponsored by the House of Mauboussin, the French luxury house famous for their fine watches and hand-crafted jewelry and Coutts Bank, the private banking arm of the Bank of Scotland. One of the highlights of the evening will be the release of Anna's book on music entitled A-Musical 59 "Feather on the Breath of God". Compiled by her after dedicated research, the limited edition book will be gifted to those guests who have donated $100 and above to the NKF Children's Medical Fund. Besides this, there will also be a silent auction of various luxury items ranging from a collector's item Chanel gold La Ronde watch to an exquisite Lalique Horse figurine and a magnificent weekend package for two at the elite Meritus Negara Hotel. The House of Mauboussin will also showcase their collection and treat guests to a glittering array of designer jewelry and high fashion time-wear. This unique charity event has been organised by Anna because she is keen to share her experiences of artistic pursuits and contribute in some way to society.
